CFP printing goes high tech

Cayman Free Press has recently undertaken a major investment and installation of new pre-press equipment to compliment its extensive printing and bindery facilities. It’s new Screen CTP (computer to plate) equipment and pre-press workflow software is the first phase in eliminating film and chemicals in the production of printing plates in the company’s newspaper and commercial printing operations.

The Screen equipment and software is the most advanced available worldwide. The installation took place less than three months after new software technology was introduced to the world’s printing industry.

This will enable Cayman Free Press to continue to provide its customers with first-class quality and very competitive pricing.

Having the facilities to print newspapers, magazines and general printing in Grand Cayman ensures that all types of printing are completed to stringent deadlines to meet the demands placed on businesses and their staffs in Cayman.
