Junior Batabano gets under way this Saturday with the parade beginning and ending on the lawns of the Glass House at 3pm.
The very popular Family Fun Day follows the parade on the lawns of the Glass House and is as a great opportunity to bring the really young ones to mingle with the creative costumed revellers.
Topping off the excitement for that day will be the Junior Song Competition at 6.30pm with prizes being given to the top performers.
The Teen Dance follows at 8pm.
Batabano Chairperson Donna Myrie-Stephen said
‘Having this day specifically dedicated for our young people truly solidifies Cayman Carnival Batabano as a family affair”.

Cayman Prep year 10 student Miss Stephanie Lewis was the winner of the T-shirt design competition that was held amongst primary and high school students. Stephanie’s design is being featured on all Junior Batabano T-shirts for 2008.
