The Professional Development & Training Centre, a division of the Chamber of Commerce, recently invited Independent Change Facilitator, Mr. Jim Standen, to lead a customer relationship management course on 12 May at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Macdonald Square, George Town.
The four participants were senior level employees who brushed up on their customer service skills by learning the principles of CRM and a number of practical techniques that can be used to get to know customers, their needs and expectations. The course also explores how one can build a robust delivery of the services offered that will impress customers.
Mr. Standen is one of the leading authorities on practical applications of the European Foundation for Quality Management Model and how to integrate people skills with effective process management. Mr. Standen worked for several years in the Cayman Islands, first as the training manager for the IBM Dealer and then took the post of total quality manager for Cable & Wireless. Mr. Standen now works, as an independent change consultant with a variety of public and private sector organisations, supporting them through a number of focused interventions at an individual, team, process and organisational level, states a Chamber press release.
Members can take advantage of the Professional Development and Training Centre one- day courses for $125 or two-day courses for $200.
