Mark paved the way

When Girls United, the Cayman Islands Football Association Under-15 women’s football champions, clinched the title last month in a showdown against Elite, their winning form reflected both the coaching and corporate support that the team had received throughout the season.

Local paving company, Advanced Road Construction and Paving has been behind the team ‘to enable a very talented set of young footballers to excel’, said Mark Scotland, the company’s managing director.

Girls United were presented with new uniforms, courtesy of ARCP and this support proved invaluable to the end of season results in which the team was rewarded for providing the leading goal scorer – Shanice Monteith – and for comprehensively winning the title.

Scotland congratulated the team on its outstanding season performance.
