Thanks to Krys & Associates, the National Council of Voluntary Organisations has received the remaining funds needed to send residents of the Nadine Andreas Foster Home to Cuba for a summer vacation.
The Nadine Andreas Foster Home is run by the NCVO and cares for up to ten Caymanian boys and girls in need of care and protection. Whilst all the children attend local schools, unfortunately some of the children have no immediate family members, and so this vacation will be the only time of the year they will spend away from the Home.
After a year of Spanish tuition from Ms. Yolanda, a volunteer, the children hope to improve upon their newly acquired Spanish oral skills whilst on holiday.
‘We have always tried to take time to provide assistance to the local community and particularly children who do not necessarily have access to resources and funds in meeting their wishes and needs,’ said Kenneth Krys, Managing Director of Krys & Associates.
‘In this case, we are pleased to assist the Nadine Andreas Foster Home in ensuring it has sufficient funds for the foster children to have an enjoyable summer vacation in Cuba.’
Companies and individuals who are interested in making a donation towards the Home are invited to contact Ms. Janice Wilson, CEO of the National Council of Voluntary Organisations at [email protected] or to phone her at 949-2124.
