Diamonds International in GT

On the evening of 4 September, Diamonds International hosted a grand opening party for its new location at 19 South Church Street.

Noting over 150 guests, the splendor of the evening consisted of familiar faces, flowing Moet and showcase upon showcase of dazzling jewellery and timepieces.

The stand-out case was a single island separated from all other showcases that held the 13 carat diamond, appropriately named the Royal Crown, which is but one part of the Crown of Light Collection, exclusive to Diamonds International. Valued at over $1,000,000 this particular diamond caught everyone’s attention for the evening.

Butterfield Bank’s Charmin Graham won diamond pendant weighing .50 ct set in 14 K gold.

Two other guests walked away with sapphire pendants. Following the excitement of the raffle, speeches and ribbon-cutting led to more drinks, h’ordeuvres and shopping.

Diamonds International began operations in St. Thomas in 1986. The company has grown to include locations on many of the Caribbean islands, including Antigua, Barbados, Cancun, Cozumel, St. Kitts, and St Maarten.

Grand Cayman is one of the newest islands to receive Diamonds International. Diamonds International has contributed to the Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Nadine Andreas Foster Home and the Cayman Heart Fund.
