Sunset turn on the heat against Roma

The Cayman Islands Football Association Premier League competition played their second round of games on Sunday.

The results were Scholars International 3 Tigers 2, George Town 2 Latinos 2 at the Annex while at the Ed Bush playfield Sunset beat Roma 2-0 and the border clash between Elite and Future ended in a 0-0 score line.

In the Division One competition which kicked off on Saturday Bodden Town stopped Academy 2-1, North Side defeated East End 2-1 and Sunset drew 2-2 with Scholars International.

Cayman players are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Reggae Boyz on Monday for a week long training camp under new head coach John Barnes and assistant coach Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore.

It’s part of the preparations for the Reggae Boyz leading into the Digicel Caribbean Championship, the finals of which are being hosted in Jamaica from December 1-15.
