Hedge Funds Care Cayman has announced that Arch Automotive has signed on as a major local sponsor for the upcoming fourth annual gala dinner, ‘Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit’, at The Ritz-Carlton on Saturday, 15 November.
HFCC is an alliance of Cayman hedge fund industry professionals devoted to raising funds awarded to local organizations that focus on the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
‘We are thrilled to partner once again with Arch Automotive – their generosity and support is paramount to the success of events such as these. We are grateful for their continued support to such a worthwhile cause and we very much look forward to the event,’ commented Cayman Committee of Hearts Member Geoff Ruddick.
Since its inception in 2005, HFCC has raised over US $650,000 that has sponsored local agencies and their initiatives to combat the issue of child abuse and neglect in the Cayman Islands. Last November, the third benefit dinner, raised a net total of US $254,000 for HFCC, states a press release.
Arch Automotive, Audi’s representative in Cayman, is providing both a luxury Audi Q7 and an exciting Audi Driver’s Day package for the HFCC live auction. Arch has also donated an Audi toy car for the silent auction.
The Audi Q7 is a full-size, seven-seater, luxury sport utility vehicle with a 3.6 liter 280 horsepower engine. It boasts an extensive selection of high-end features such as voice control, Bluetooth, Audi music interface ipod system, an advanced parking system and camera, open sky system, leather seating, and push start and stop. The live auction will culminate with the Audi Q7 as the final item up for bid.
The Audi Driver’s Day package is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to drive top-model Audis along European highways while staying at four-star hotels. The package is customized to meet individual preferences.
‘Arch Automotive is happy to support the HFCC annual event and their mission overall. I can not think of a more worthwhile cause than ensuring the well-being and safety of children,’ commented Arch Automotive General Manager Michelle Arch. ‘On behalf of Arch Automotive, it was incredibly rewarding to participate last year and we are proud to once again be a sponsor contributing to the success of the event – we recognize it takes a community effort.’
The theme of the black-tie affair is ‘Jewels of Cayman’ featuring a star-studded evening of glitz, glamour and entertainment. Highlights will include a champagne and cocktail reception, dinner and dancing, live entertainment by the String Angels, and a silent and live auction, featuring such items as sports dream getaway packages, exquisite jewelry, and sports memorabilia.
‘This event has proved time and again to be very successful – not only in raising much-needed funds to support the deserving non-profit organizations that embody our mission, but also in raising awareness to the cause which they so vehemently advocate for,’ added Mr. Ruddick.
There are still opportunities to support the 2008 Hedge Funds Care fundraising event by purchasing tickets (US $1,000), sponsoring an ad in the event programme, or donating auction items for the silent and live auctions.
