Taste of Cayman rescheduled

Scheduled for Saturday, 22 November

Last weekend’s Taste of Cayman was postponed due to inclement weather.

The annual culinary event will now be held on Saturday, 22 November.

‘After experiencing the extreme rainy weather over the weekend we were very thankful to have postponed Taste of Cayman until 22 November,’ Trina Christian, Cayman Islands Tourism Association director said.

‘We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Ticket sales will continue so we encourage everyone to purchase their raffle/admission ticket as soon as possible by contact CITA at 949-8522. All tickets are still dated 1 November but are valid for the 22 November event and prize drawing at Camana Bay.’

Susanna de Saram, communications manager at Camana Bay added: ”It was a tough decision to postpone Taste of Cayman, but when the heavens opened at 5.30pm last Saturday, we were glad we did!

‘We have such an exciting line-up this year, with the Lounge at Gardenia Court, a fun-packed kids corner and a craft market all in addition to the fabulous restaurants on offer, that we want people to be able to enjoy the food and wine and evening’s entertainment in the best possible conditions.’

Proceeds from the event go to CITA charities, which include the Lighthouse School and The Pines Retirement Home. For more information check out www.tasteofcayman.com.ky.
