Cayman’s popular local comedy revue Rundown will be on stage at the Harquail Theatre for nine performances in February and March.
Beginning 26 February, the revue is a completely new show written by Dave Martins and produced by the Cayman National Cultural Foundation.
Previously scheduled to be held in early December this year, the CNCF decided to move the show back to its original March slot, which had been interrupted in 2004 by Hurricane Ivan damage to the Harquail Theatre.
CNCF Artistic Director Henry Muttoo, who has directed the show from its inception, said that the December date presented problems with casting and availability of creative personnel, and with other Foundation projects.
Writer and creator of Rundown, Dave Martins, said, ‘The show will be the established comedic mix of skits, monologues, original songs and musical links that draw people to Rundown every year. It will again feature many veteran Rundown performers and some new faces.’
Ticket prices will remain at $15 for adults and $8 for children.
