Francesca Dowse was called to the bar of the Cayman Islands in the Grand Court by Justice Charles Quin on 13 January, the admission being moved by David McGrath of Samson & McGrath.

Ms Dowse has joined the matrimonial and children department of Samson & McGrath, where she will deal with all aspects of divorce, financial relief, child care, and child abduction.

Her background includes studies at the University of Lancaster and at New York University; then completion of her professional qualifications at the University of Manchester, England. She was called to the bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

She brings considerable expertise and experience to our firm. Her arrival brings our total number of attorneys to seven and her recruitment is part of our continuing commitment to cater for the needs of the local market and community.’

Ms Dowse said: ‘I am pleased to have joined Samson & McGrath and am very much looking forward to developing my experience in the Cayman Islands as part of a reputable and thriving matrimonial practice.’
