Last Friday saw an exciting evening of netball at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

Prospect ‘B’ won against North Side 6-2. The defense for both squads was good as points came at a premium throughout.

John A Cumber Primary would have a good day in more ways than one.

The ‘B’ team, behind the very accurate shooting of Khailain O’Connor, trounced CCC 15-0.

In addition the ‘A’ team won a hard-fought, high-scoring match against Truth For Youth 16-10.

In their previous encounter TFY won after clawing their way back from a first half deficit.

Meanwhile George Town Primary appears headed for the netball championship.

The George Town Primary ‘B’ team showed their class against an improving Truth For Youth team in beating them 7-0.

From there the George Town ‘A’ girls would out-class Triple C with a resounding 13-4 victory.

Eight teams qualified for this round of play which comprises of two zones.
