Road wrong

It is a terrible shame to think that the Mastic Trail and Salinas Reserve will be affected by future development. With the land mass available through East End it must be possible to construct a road without encroaching on the Salina Reserve and the Mastic Trail.

Roadkill was a major factor in the demise of the Blue Iguana and planning to build a new road through the only protected habitat remaining for these creatures leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I hope that all of the people who were so vocal after the killing of seven iguanas last year will step up and object to this plan.
