The Truman Bodden track meet last weekend was a tremendous success.
There were exceptional performances, as expected from many young athletes.
Chantelle Morrison comfortably won the 100 metres and there were notable performances too from the likes of Ashleigh Nalty, Travis Webb, Stephon Johnson and Alexander Terry. Johnson won the long jump in 6.85 metres.
At one point a group of chickens decided they were fed up of being ignored and organised their own race. But they were all disqualified for running out of their lanes!
Truman Bodden himself presented some of the prizes to appreciative youngsters, some of whom had come over from Cayman Brac for the event.
