Eclipze celebrates 16 years and new home

There is much cause for celebration at Eclipze Hair Design and Day Spa this year as the salon celebrates its 16th birthday on Wednesday, 1 April and settles into its new home in Camana Bay’s Town Centre.

To commemorate the occasion, Eclipze is offering a series of specials on services, a raffle to be drawn on 1 May at the grand opening celebration and $10 off all spa services with the new beauty therapist, Priyani, throughout April.

The salon’s focus on using natural and organic products has led to a loyal following among its eco-friendly customers.

‘People are increasingly sensitive towards the environment and want to reduce the amount of chemicals they use in their homes and especially on their bodies,’ said Darla Dilbert, owner of Eclipze. ‘The lines we stock are made up of natural and organic ingredients, whether it be the new Aromafloria body salts, oils and home fragrance beads, the June Jacobs full body spa collection or Gehwol for foot care.

‘We have also introduced a new mineral range of make-up called Niko cosmetics which is great for our climate, problem skin and gives a beautiful healthy finish. We even use organic sheets on our massage beds.’

Other hair and skin lines available at Goldwell colour and hair products, Tigi Bed Head and Catwalk, Peter Thomas Roth skin line and OPI.

Eclipze’s new premises at Camana Bay also reflect the natural world with a d├ęcor that uses warm, earthy tones and organic materials such as granite and wood.

The spacious 2,000 square foot salon and day spa ensures Ms Dilbert and her team can provide a full range of hair and spa services, from consultations, hair styling, massage, nail care, make-up and waxing to every kind of facial and skincare treatment.

Eclipze has specially trained paramedical therapists who are qualified to help with problem skin and is now also offering eyebrow threading.

‘As a full service day spa, we are also a popular option for bridal parties,’ said Ms Dilbert. ‘Brides can bring their party and close family members to have their hair, nails and make-up all done together at one location. They can even have a calming massage to prepare for the big day.’

Eclipze is equally well-known in the local community for its support of good causes. The annual cut-a-thon organised by Ms Dilbert every October involves salons from across the island providing haircuts in aid of the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens’ breast cancer awareness month. Amongst many other causes, the salon also participates in Locks for Love, which invites customers to donate their own hair to be made into wigs in support of the Cancer Society.

Eclipze Hair design and Day Spa is now located on Market Street in Camana Bay and is open from 10am to 7pm Mondays to Fridays and from 9am to 7pm on Saturdays. For more information, visit www.eclipze.ky, email [email protected] or phone 945-1188 or 916-7274.
