Police seek missing schoolgirls

Police are trying to locate two teenage schoolgirls who have not been seen since leaving John Gray High School on Wednesday afternoon.

The girls, Kendra Bodden aged 16 and Gabriella Williams aged 17, have not been in contact with their families since the school broke up for Easter break at lunchtime on 8 April.

‘At the moment, there is no evidence of foul play, however we need to find them as quickly as possible,’ said Deborah Denis, the police’s public relations officer.

The girls are being asked to contact their families.

Family members of both the teenagers reported them missing to police.

Police are speaking to school friends are part of the investigation to try to locate the girls.

The teens were last seen in the vicinity of Wendy’s on Walkers Road.

Kendra Bodden is described as 5-feet, 6-incehs tall, with short black hair. She was wearing the JGHS red physical education T-shirt with black shorts, black shoes and white socks.

Gabriella Williams is around 5-feet, 6-inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward. People should contact their local police station as a matter of urgency if they can assist. Information can also be passed to Crime Stoppers on 800-8477 (TIPS).
