The annual Easter egg hunt, hosted by Camana Bay, Z99 and Rooster 101, was a smashing success this past weekend. Hopefully, however, not too many eggs were smashed in the process.
Hundreds of children turned out with their parents and Easter baskets in tow to search for a multitude of eggs – and, in particular, a very special golden egg. The finder of the egg would win $750 in Island Companies’ gift certificates.
Not long after the hunt began, the lucky winner of the golden egg was revealed. Nine-year-old Paris Broad was the lucky recipient.
‘Z99 and Rooster were thrilled to continue to provide family-friendly events,’ said Cheryl Birch, sales manager at Hurley’s Entertainment. ‘We would like to thank all of our supporting sponsors that made it possible to offer more redemption centres and activities for the children which had our families busy and happy.
‘Camana Bay is a perfect location that will allow this event to continue to grow.’
