The Cayman Islands Agriculture Society is encouraging residents to take advantage of free educational programmes and workshops in the coming months.
Classes this spring will include a 9 May class on ‘Cayman Traditional Teas and their Beneficial Properties’ co-hosted by Joel Walton and Alvin McLaughlin.
A two-part series, ‘Fundamentals of Grafting’ is scheduled to be taught by Trent Jackson and Mr. Franklin on 23 May and 6 June.
Those interested are invited to come out to these informational seminars, which are held every other Saturday at Market at the Grounds site in Lower Valley.
The seminars are hosted by CIAS members in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture.
