Two teenagers have been charged by Eastern District detectives following a break-in at the East End Texaco petrol station on Sea View Road in May.
Officers were alerted to the burglary at 2.30am Thursday, 25 May. Detectives found that the station’s rear door had been forced open and food and cigarettes had been taken. A search had also been made for cash, but there was none on the premises.
Following investigations, an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Each teen has since been charged with one count apiece of burglary and damage to property.
The pair was due to appear in court Friday.
