Travel media and industry partners gathered in New York City last month for the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Media Marketplace.
Making its debut at this annual event, Camana Bay joined tourism officials, hotel representatives, tour operators and airline personnel for one-on-one interactions with 150 travel media outlets to offer valuable tourism information about the Caribbean region.
Camana Bay spokespeople worked hand-in-hand with the newly appointed Leader of Government Business and Minster of Tourism McKeeva Bush, to promote the destination and the island’s newest attraction and valued addition, Camana Bay’s Town Centre.
‘As we introduce Camana Bay to the travel industry, it is vital that we participate in events that are organized by established associations, such as the Caribbean Tourism Organization.
‘CTO Media Marketplace gave us the opportunity to introduce Camana Bay to key influencers who can directly impact new business and travel to our Town Centre,’ said Kathryn Jackson, AtWater Consulting Ltd. and Acting Communications Manager, Camana Bay. ‘It also provided us with the opportunity to work in conjunction with the Department of Tourism, who partnered with us to make a louder statement about the Cayman Islands as a leading travel destination with one-of-a-kind offerings.’
