Travel advice for gov’t

As we all know a large number of our politicians, civil servants and other government related bureaucrats spend a significant amount of their time jetting around the world at the taxpayer’s expense, often on trips that are unnecessary and with many hangers on so that they will not have to drink alone at the hotel bar.

Far be it for me to suggest that we actually curtail all these jaunts, but in support of the Chief Secretary’s recently announced cost cutting initiative, might I suggest that the trips be booked through Thomas Cook so that they can book their poolside recliners in advance and without charge.
