In last week’s Observer on Sunday Sir James Astwood, former Stipendiary Magistrate, shared his memories of life in Cayman in 1959.
There were two unidentified men in last week’s picture of the 1959 Justices and Vestry but they have since been named by Observer readers. The man standing in the back row, second from left, is Lincoln Bodden of East End. Roy Bodden and Richard Arch named him and Mr. Lincoln’s grandson Chris confirmed the identification.
The man seated far right, however, has not been satisfactorily identified. In fact he has been given four different names and has been linked to Bodden Town, George Town, West Bay and Cayman Brac.
Anyone who can assist in identifying this man is asked to contact Carol Winker at 345-50980 or [email protected]
