Jamesette Anglin was crowned the new Miss Teen at Saturday night’s pageant.

As the new Miss Teen, Ms Anglin will receive a number of prizes; including a Cayman Islands government scholarship, a laptop and phone handset from LIME, and a gym membership from Body Sculptor.
Breann Wright won first runner-up in the competition, and Kristin Amaya won second runner-up.
In all, 12 contestants took part in the 2009-2010 Miss Teen Cayman Islands pageant and spent the summer preparing for the event, which was held Saturday evening at the Lions Centre.
The contestants took part in various activities, such as etiquette classes, toastmaster lessons, an island tour to various historic and tourist attractions of the islands, radio and TV interviews and the motorcade last Saturday.
The Leo Club of Grand Cayman sponsors the pageant each year.
