Charles ‘The Killa’ Whittaker will be fighting next month after recently signing with his new promoter Dan Goossen.
The match is on 28 November in California but the opponent and venue has yet to be finalised.
By signing with Goossen, Whittaker, 35, finally hopes to secure a world title match by next year.
It was Goossen who promoted the Cayman Knockout show here last year when Whittaker stopped Troy Lowry in four rounds.
Since then Killa has fought three times in the Philippines, winning all three inside the distance.
The last one was against Cris Alag in July when he won in four rounds.
