Appleby is boosting its real estate presence in Cayman with a new addition.
A press release states the firm recently welcomed Sonia Starvis as the fourth member of Appleby’s Cayman Property Practice Group.
Ms Starvis has practiced law in the Cayman Islands for over 12 years. Prior to joining Appleby, she was partner and head of the real estate and local business group of Walkers. She specialises in all aspects of residential and commercial property work including the development and leasing of commercial and residential property as well as property related project and acquisition finance.
Ms Starvis has been recognised by PLC Which Lawyer? as a highly recommended lawyer for real estate consistently since 2006. Prior to practicing law in the Cayman Islands, Sonia trained at Beachcroft in London, England and qualified into major law firm, Taylor Wessing.
