Bolt runs into Al

Usain Bolt must have had more
awards showered on him in the past couple of years than any other sportsman
around.

Nevertheless, the world’s fastest
man loves to see his fellow Jamaicans doing well and receiving an award from a
veteran of hosting sports awards is very special to the young sprinter.

Bolt recently gave full endorsement
to the Commonwealth Sports Awards. Bolt told Al Hamilton the CSA founder: “Keep
working to honour the athletes from the Commonwealth. Thanks for honouring me.”

The CSA has been running annually
since 1980 and been held in the UK, Africa and the Caribbean.

Hamilton, who is also
the founder of the Caribbean Awards Sports Icons is looking to host this year’s
event, the third, in Cayman. The first CASI was in Jamaica in 2008, then Bahamas
last November and Hamilton would love to bring the likes of Bolt here this
time.
