More fishing action is on horizon
The third annual Cayman Swordfish
Challenge is set to take place in two weeks on March 19 and 20.
Fishing is slated to begin Friday
evening from 4pm and go into the early morning hours of Saturday.
The action picks up again on
Saturday at 4pm and finish in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Focusing on Blue Marlin and other
swordfish the tournament offers CI$19,000 in cash prizes.
The two biggest prizes are CI$5000
for the heaviest catch and CI$3000 for the second heaviest grab. Both are
determined based on the weight of an angler‘s biggest or two largest fish.
With the event having been pushed
back from this weekend, there is still time to register.
The entry fee is CI$500 for a group
of four including the team captain.
