Close to 50 Butterfield Bank
employees recently got the chance to enhance their financial literacy at a financial
planning workshop held by the Chamber Pension Plan.
Customer Relationship Manager Robert
Schultz has been leading the free workshops for Chamber Pension Plan members for
the past two years.
“The goal of the workshop is to
enhance the financial literacy of the people of the Cayman Islands by
introducing them to the components of a quality financial plan,” said Mr.
The three-hour course covers goal setting,
budgeting, retirement planning, insurance planning and estate planning and includes
a comprehensive workbook. Afterward, attendees
may also take part in a free one-on-one consultation with Mr. Schultz who can
assist with reviewing the course materials or with developing a financial plan.
The Chamber Pension Plan is the
only pension plan on island offering such a course.
