Floyd’s back on HBO

Boxing fans can start whetting
their appetites for the best fight of the year so far when the HBO TV series
returns on Saturday night.

The award winning reality
documentary series 24/7 is back with its most outrageous star Floyd Mayweather
Jr commanding attention as usual.

Coverage is from 6-6.30pm Cayman
time and shows ‘Money’ preparing for his battle on 1 May with veteran
welterweight champion ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Having completed their bad tempered
press tour when at one point they scuffled and had to be separated, the
fighters return back to training camp.

Mayweather, 32, needs to beat
Mosley to set up a massive fight with Manny Pacquiao. Mosley may be 38 but he
is still good enough to test Mayweather to the limits and could cause an upset.

Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs) trains in
his local Las Vegas facilities including the Mayweather Boxing Gym. Mosley (46-5,
39 KOs) heads to Big Bear mountain for training camp.

Episodes two and three of 24/7
Mayweather/Mosley will first be shown on subsequent Saturdays. The finale is on
30 April, the night before the super-showdown.

The 24/7 boxing franchise
recently received six Sports Emmy nominations for the 2009 programming year,
including Outstanding Edited Sports Special for the series “24/7
Mayweather/Marquez.”
