By Rite teach Schools a lesson

Two half centuries from Vincent
Ebanks 58 not out and Ramon Sealy 57 for LIME Schools could not prevent By Rite
from closing their league season on a winning note.

Batting first, By Rite scored 244
runs with excellent contributions from Michael Wight 48, Omar Bryan 33n.o and
captain Conroy Wright 30.

Ricardo Roach with 3 wickets was
the leading wicket taker for LIME Schools. Omar Bryan showed his all round
ability by taking 3 wickets as LIME Schools closed on 199 for 6 wickets. By
Rite won by 45 runs.

In Division 2, leaders JJ’s were
surprised by a determined Aims Consultants and suffered their first defeat for
the season.

Aims Consultants batted first and
scored 189 runs with George Hudson 48 and Locksley Davis 33 their main
contributors and the pair was at work again dismissing 7 JJ’s batsmen. Aims
Consultants won by 82 runs.

Greenies Too went for gold against
Oneness and achieved 336 runs for 7 wickets, the highest total for the season.
Oneness had no answer to David McGrath’s slow stuff as he picked up 5 wickets
for 6 runs.
