New playhouse for preschool

The
Department of Tourism’s old visitor information booth has become a playhouse
for kids at the Miss Nadine’s Preschool and Nadine Andreas Foster Home.

The
principal of the playschool, Caroline Ebanks, expressed her gratitude for the
donation.

“The
children are really enjoying their new ‘Caymanian style playhouse’ and it is a
lovely addition to their play area. We’re really grateful for DoT’s thoughtful
donation,” she said.

Oneshia
Richards, deputy director of tourism product development, said that the
donation was made in conjunction with the National Council of Voluntary
Organisations.

“We
wanted the booth to go to a worthy cause where it would be beneficial and
decided to give it to the children as a playhouse,” explained Ms. Richards.
