Cayman’s culinary creations are
becoming quite the draw with epicurean events increasingly showcasing the
quality and breadth of food available on-island.
Cayman Restaurant Week, from 1-8
August will feature participating restaurants offering fixed price lunches and
dinners, said organiser Carrie Layne.
“Diners will have several options
to choose from for each course and some restaurants even include vegetarian
choices… Foodies from around the world
and locals will be able to dine at Cayman’s finest restaurants and check out
each chef’s unique culinary skills with a fixed price menu and optional wine
pairing. We plan on making Cayman Restaurant Week an annual event”.
Currently there are more than 20
restaurants participating, with more expected to join as there is no charge to
get involved, said Ms Layne.
