Get rowdy at Coyote Ugly

Ladies, do you feel like strutting
your stuff and getting your groove on for an audience? If you’re a real
extrovert, can dance up a storm, and fancy winning a great prize, hurry on and
sign up, as there are only five spots left for a chance to dance in Coyote Ugly
– Cayman’s version of the bar top dancing seen in Jerry Bruckheimer’s film, of
the same name.

The event invites women to enter
and strut their stuff in a dance-off at the Lone Star Bar & Grill at 8pm,
Friday, 23 August.

Last year’s competition attracted a
large crowd, and members of the audience were very vocal in encouraging the
contestants to dance as if their lives depended on it.

Four bars will be serving drink
specials, music will be provided by CayRock, and a DJ will play the hottest
mixes to get the party started. For all the women who decide to enter and
dance, take note: there is a cowgirl theme, so be sure to dress the part.
Cowboy hats will be provided.

The competition is sponsored by
Tortuga Rum Co. and Jagermeister. Twenty contestants will have the chance to
take part in the dance-off to win the grand prize of air fare for two to either
Miami or Tampa, Florida. Judges for the event are Ron Bowen, operations manager
for dms broadcasting, Jessie Aheam from Appleby law firm, and Tiny Chisholm
from Red Sail.
