Mourant Ozannes scored a hat-trick
at this year’s ACQ Law Awards.
The annual ACQ Law Awards,
organised by specialist mergers, acquisitions and corporate deals magazine ACQ,
are an assessment of the quality of service offered by firms across a range of
practice areas. Winners are nominated by and voted for by the magazine’s 32,000
readers. Mourant Ozannes was named Overall Law Firm of the Year in the Cayman
Islands for the second year in a row, Commercial Litigation Law Firm of the
Year and Insolvency and Restructuring Law Firm of the Year.
Mourant Ozannes has approximately
200 fee-earners and 50 partners in offices in the Cayman Islands, Guernsey,
Jersey and London.
“Mourant Ozannes is continuing to
demonstrate its strength in depth and industry knowledge across its core
practice areas,” said Cayman Islands office head Neal Lomax.
Peter Hayden, head of the Cayman
Litigation and Insolvency team, noted specialist restructuring and complex
liquidations continue to be key areas for the firm.
