HospiceCare receives assistance

A much-needed service just got some
welcome assistance.

Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Ltd
recently donated over $11,000 to Cayman HospiceCare, a non-profit organisation
that provides high quality pain control, symptom management and support for
people with life-threatening illnesses.

“Cayman HospiceCare is extremely
grateful for the continued support of Butterfield. Their annual donations of
both funds and volunteer hours play a significant role in ensuring that the free,
specialized nursing services of Cayman HospiceCare remain available to any
person in the Cayman Islands who needs them,” said fundraising manager Jennifer
Grant-McCarthy.

“Butterfield and its employees
continue to prove their commitment to our charity and are a leading example in
our community.”

Cayman HospiceCare relies almost
solely on donations to offer its free services to any person living in the
Cayman Islands. Their team of health care professionals works closely with the
patient’s doctor to provide the best possible care. The organization is committed
to enhancing and improving the lives of all those affected by death, and to
assuring long-term emotional, spiritual and general well-being to survivors
after loss.

“We are dedicated to supporting Cayman
HospiceCare each year, which provides a wonderful service to the Cayman community,
enabling their patients to have a better quality of life while remaining at
home,” said Butterfield Marketing Assistant Manager Rhonda Serrano.
