Cayman National aids diabetes groups

Cayman National has donated $3,750 raised in a charity walk/run to the Cayman Islands Diabetes Association and Cayman Islands Diabetes Charitable Trust.

More than 400 people registered for the annual charity event, which started at Camana Bay on 15 January, and almost 300 took part.

This was the second year the bank has organised the charity walk/run.

“Cayman National’s decision to organise this event on an annual basis is as a result of our awareness of the many needs within our community,” said Claudia Welds, corporate communication executive.

“Each year, we will identify two charities to support and look forward to many
successful events.”
