Yale here to try to test champs

Top international rugby is being played on Saturday at the club in South Sound as well as two riveting club matches.

Yale University are fielding their Under-23 side for the second time this week against Cayman’s finest.

Cayman won 29-12 on Tuesday night with a mainly U-19 side. Cayman’s Morgan Hayward was one of the players named man of the match. Kick off on Saturday is 4.30pm.

Before that the Krys Global Buccaneers play the Queensgate Pig Trotters at 12.30pm and the John Doak Iguanas face the DHL Storm at 2.30pm.

The game against Yale is a great warm-up for the youngsters who will be defending their title in the Caribbean Championships in July.

Some of them will also feature in Cayman’s men’s team in the first leg against Jamaica in the senior Caribbean Championships at South Sound on 16 April.
