Rotaract Blue, Cayman Islands is accepting applications for the Fred Speirs Vocational Grant starting today.
The grant is open to eligible Caymanians from the ages of 16 to 30 wishing to pursue a vocational or technical course either locally or overseas, above and supplemental to high school.
This is the third year the club is offering the grant, which is a part of its Vocational Grant Programme.
“Rotaract Blue is very proud of its Vocational Grant Programme, as it is one of the only grants of this nature available locally,” said President Sheraim Mascal.
“By bettering ourselves, we better our community, and as a club we are very excited about being able to assist persons pursuing vocational or technical courses again this year.”
The club encourages anyone interested in pursuing a vocational or technical career and in need of extra financial support to download the application.
Application forms for the grant and additional information regarding eligibility can be obtained from the club’s website www.rotaractblue.org under the Downloads section. The deadline to apply is 13 May.
