Cayman firm Kinetic Partners has made two appointments to its insolvency and forensic services practice.
The firm, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this month, provides the asset management, investment banking and brokering industry with a bespoke service for clients who need in-depth industry advice, analysis and valuation across borders.
Jess Shakespeare joins Kinetic as a director and is a Cayman qualified insolvency practitioner with extensive experience gained working with investment funds and in the insurance and banking industries in the Cayman Islands, the firm said.
Previously, he acted as a director to numerous investment funds and structured finance vehicles, provided administration services to unit trusts, and acted as a liquidator in hundreds of voluntary liquidations of such entities.
James Plowright joins Kinetic Partners from Worrells Solvency and Forensic Accountants in Australia, where he gained comprehensive experience in negotiation the sales of assets and businesses, voluntary administrations and liquidations, corporate and non-corporate receiverships and litigation support. He is CPA and IPA qualified, the firm said.
