Mourant expands its litigation team

Two lawyers from Mourant Ozannes have been sworn in and admitted as attorneys-at-law of the Cayman Islands.

Associate Fleur O’Driscoll is a commercial litigation specialist who joined Mourant Ozannes in May. She trained and worked at Dublin law firm Mason Hayes & Curran. Ms O’Driscoll was admitted as a solicitor in Ireland in 2007 and in England and Wales in 2010. She has experience in handling a broad range of complex international commercial disputes, including contractual and property disputes as well as asset recovery and insolvency matters.

Associate Lucy Diggle joined Mourant Ozannes’ Trusts team in May. A specialist in contentious and non-contentious trusts and estates work, she qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2005, subsequently working at Speechly Bircham in London and then leading City of London private client firm Charles Russell, where her practice focused on complex multi-jurisdictional trusts and estates litigation.

Ms Diggle is a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists and a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Peter Hayden, partner and head of litigation in Mourant Ozannes’ Cayman Islands office, said, “I am delighted that Fleur and Lucy have joined the firm. Each of them bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to Mourant Ozannes’ litigation and trusts practices respectively.”
