Cayman’s athletes at the Island Games in the Isle of Wight
have started well, securing seven medals after the first couple of days.
Sprinter Robert Ibeh got a silver in the 200 metres, Michael
Letterlough also got silver in the hammer throw and swimmer Lara Butler also
got silver in the women’s 100m butterfly.
Bronze was won in the squash and bronzes also went to Junior
Hines (400m hurdles) and swimmer Joel Rombough got two, in the 200m butterfly
and 200m individual medley.
