Graduate admitted to practice law

Rosie Whittaker-Myles, partner at Charles Adams Ritchie & Duckworth, recently moved the application for admission of Devika Parchment as an attorney-at-law before Grand Court Justice Charles Quinn.

Ms Parchment obtained the Degree of Bachelor of Laws Class 2 Division 1 from the University of Liverpool through the Cayman Islands Law School.

She was the top-ranked student in her first year of studies and, having passed the Qualifying Examination in the Professional Practice Court with Distinction in July 2009, was valedictorian for her graduating class and was the recipient of the O.L. Panton Memorial Prize and the Attorney General’s Trophy.

Ms Parchment has successfully completed her Articles with Charles Adams Ritchie and Duckworth and following her admission as an attorney-at-law will be joining the litigation department in that firm.
