People in Grand Cayman have one less thing to worry about,
with the launch of 24/7 Towing and Road Side Assistance.
The businesses was launched in February 2010 by entrepreneur
and family man Theodore Augustus Kelly after moving on from his career at Car
Mr. Kelly explained what led him to get into the business
“There was restructuring happening at Car City at the time
and I eventually had to move on, but I made inquiries about the possibility of
acquiring the tow truck I was working with under them at the time. They agreed
and that was how everything got started with the business.”
Mr. Kelly said he wanted to thank the Foster Group for their
willingness to sell him the truck at a fair cost.
Folks around the Island may have now noticed Mr. Kelly in
his tow truck and may have caught a glimpse of the trademark service with a
smile approach that he so enjoys delivering.
“If you don’t want to work a day in your life – find a job
that you truly enjoy,” he exclaimed.
Despite being on call 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, the
entrepreneur said he fully appreciates and enjoys the flexibility his towing
service affords him.
“I love what I do. In fact I always loved customer service
from my time working in the financial industry, but with less bureaucracy, I’d
have to say I am more at peace with this.”

Road Side Assistance offers extricating/winching, collision towing assistance,
flat tire assistance, vehicle fluid delivery, lost key/lockout service, battery
service, minor mechanical adjustments, vip services and roadside
Mr. Kelly said he hopes to expand to a point where the
company is “synonymous with towing in the Cayman Islands,” adding that folks
