Cabinet had reappointed members of the Water Authority Board, with Lemuel Hurlston remaining as chairman of the board.
According to the Government Gazette, Cabinet on 23 August approved the reappointment of the chairman and other members of the board, including Ingrid Simms, Otto Watler, Corlan McLaughlin, Windell Scott, Pearlina McGaw-Lumsden, Miguel Smith and Jerry Banks, as well as three public officers representing the Financial Secretary, the Attorney General and the Ministry of District Administration, Works, Lands and Agriculture.
Director of the Water Authority, Gelia Frederick-van Genderen, was reappointed as secretary of the board.
Mr. Hurlston was first appointed to the board in December 2010, replacing Jonathan Piercy, who stepped down from the position in early September citing “personal reasons”.
The appointments are for a period of two years, effective 4 August.
