October and early November are rather dreary months in Cayman; tourism is down, there’s lots of rain and not a lot going on.
Blue by Eric Ripert, one of Grand Cayman’s best restaurants, has the perfect cure for the off-season blues: a special called Into the Blue that’s hard to beat.
When it reopens from its five-week summertime closing on 4 October and running through 12 November, Blue will offer a three-course meal, with wine pairings, for $95 per person, including gratuities.
Choices
Guests will be able to choose one appetizer, one main course and one dessert from a specially selected menu, which will include Blue signature dishes such as Tuna Foie Gras as well as new creations from Chef Eric Ripert and Chef de Cuisine Luis Lujan.
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman Executive Head Chef Frederic Morineau said the special would allow everyone a chance to experience Blue.
“Into the Blue is a unique occasion for foodies to relish some of Eric’s signature dishes expertly paired with wine at a truly affordable price,” he said. “
It is a perfect time for our regular guests to attempt some newer delicacies on the menu and an opportunity to encourage first time guests to officially experience why Blue is the Caribbean’s only Five Diamond restaurant.”
