The Florida International University writers conference returns to Books & Books in Camana Bay for the second consecutive year.
The conference, from 20-22 October, will again feature a faculty line up of acclaimed international writers and authors, including some familiar faces and some new ones.
The faculty will lead classes throughout the mornings, and participants will be able to choose sessions based on their personal interests, according to organisers.
There will be a different seminar every afternoon, and among the topics featured will be: copyright and other legal issues; editing and agents; and the contemporary publishing scene.
In the evenings, cocktail receptions will give students and faculty an opportunity to network. Each night will end with book readings, discussions and signings at Books & Books featuring faculty members. These are free and open to the public.
