Police seek suspects in restaurant robbery

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service is searching for two men believed to be involved in a Saturday night robbery at the China Village restaurant in George Town.

According to officers, armed men held up the restaurant around 8.20pm Saturday. There were two individuals arrested shortly after the robbery, but they have since been released on police bail.

Police said the two robbery suspects were described by witnesses: The first man was about 6 feet 1 inch and armed with a handgun. He was wearing black clothes, a mask and yellow gloves. The second suspect was shorter and also wore black clothing, including a black silk coat and a handkerchief mask.
