The Cayman Islands Hospital now has an automated centralised call management system.
Callers may connect to any department within the hospital by dialing the main number, 949-8600, and navigating through the automated system.
“We are excited about this new service as it allows us to offer seamless connections to all of the units/wards and departments at the hospital,” said Lizzette Yearwood, CEO of the Health Services Authority, which runs the hospital.
“In the past, patients who used our services had to call several different numbers. With the centralised system, patients who call the main number will have their calls routed to any section or department that they wish to access. “This service will also be extended to include the District Health Centres over time, providing seamless connectivity with all HSA facilities.
This is just another in a series of patient focused upgrades that the authority is implementing,” she said.
