Basketball fans in the Cayman Islands are about to see local ladies resume their hunt for glory.
The national women’s basketball league is set to begin this Sunday, 22 January and teams are gearing up for another exciting year. The Cayman Islands Basketball Association is pleased to announce season tickets are now available for fans at greatly discounted prices.
Season passes carry a regular price of $35 but the preseason sale cost is $25. A group of four people will only be charged $22 and a group of 10 people only have to come up with $20. All prices are in CI$.
For those prices, locals can watch some of the best lady ballers on Island. Among them is La-Torae Nixon, 14, who guided the Home Gas Flames to their first women’s championship last season, edging perennial favourites the Dominos Lady Heels.
