Rotaract Blue seeks names for fifth open arms awards

Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands is gearing up for its 5th Annual Open Arms Awards Ceremony and the club is inviting award nominations.  

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, 16 June at Luca Restaurant beginning at 7pm. The group will honour caretakers, teachers and others throughout the Cayman Islands who have assisted individuals with special needs. The event will also recognise people who have excelled despite disabilities.

The deadline for submissions is 27 April.  

Guests will enjoy a four-course dinner and the opportunity to win prizes. A silent auction featuring unique artwork will also be held.  

Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands is a nonprofit programme that seeks to address the physical and social needs of community members while promoting international understanding and peace. 


Tickets are CI$75 with proceeds to benefit organisations such as the Lighthouse School, Sunrise Adult Training Centre, Maple House, Special Olympics, the Cayman Islands Special Needs Foundation, and the Open Arms Program, which promotes non-discrimination for disabled persons.
